Zenith Bank announces 24% growth in gross earnings for 2022. Zenith Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, has announced a significant increase in its gross earnings for the year ending December 31, 2022. In a statement released on Tuesday, the bank revealed that it had grown its gross earnings by 24% from N765.6 billion in 2021 to N945.5 billion in 2022.
In the announcement made by Zenith Bank on the 24% Growth in Gross Earnings for 2022, the bank’s audited results for the year showed that its profit before tax increased by 10% from N255.9 billion in 2021 to N281.7 billion in 2022, while its profit after tax grew by 11% from N230.6 billion in 2021 to N256.1 billion in 2022.
Speaking on the bank’s performance as Zenith Bank announces 24% growth in gross earnings for 2022, the Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, attributed the growth to the bank’s focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and technology. As part of its commitment to shareholders, the bank also announced a proposed final dividend payout of N2.90 per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to N3.20 per share.
