Cakemania is coming back bigger and better says Bonero.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter, Unyime Bassey popularly known by his brand name Bonero, the host of Cakemania and the Ceo of Bonero Cakes And Events said that Cakemania is coming back bigger and better.
Bonero stated that, Cakemania is the biggest cake event in Nigeria, which seeks to promote, empower and inspire bakers, and the entire baking industry in Akwa Ibom State, and it’s environs.
He highlighted that, the event incorporates a live cake decorating where 18 competitors are to win 100k +mixer, 50 +mixer and 20k +mixer for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The event has the exhibition feature where over 23 confirmed bakers will be showcasing mouth watering cakes and their product as well. The event is sponsored by brands like Bolt, We Us, Mr. Gas, Visa Pictures, Zhenoes Transport, The Roothub, Housemates Entertainment, Sheer Magnate and many others. The event also have wonderful vendors who will display varieties of product at the event venue. This will all be mixed with all round entertainment awards and so much more.
He also stated that, Cakemania has produced over 45 cake creatives.
Bonero stated that Cakemania’s 10 years plan is to ‘SPREAD‘. And, they seek to expose the baking industry and young bakers more to the world, as its an annual event.
He also explained how Cakemania team approach issues. He explained that, every failure comes with lessons, we are here to deliver value to every participant at Cakemania and also to provide an unforgettable experience in terms of satisfying every attendee taste bud and also the ultimate experience of watching the sugarwars live. So, we learn, we pay attention to feedback, we seek mentorship and this has helped us achieve a ‘BIGGER and BETTER‘ experience this year.
He also stated that Cakemania loves reviews. It has made us better in this year as we have recorded awesome growth.
He highlighted the additional features of Cakemania in its second edition.
He said that, the live cake auctions is the first of its kind in Nigeria. People will also get to buy and own their best cake piece at the event. The organisation, the live display with our massive LED screen, the awards are coming back bigger with monetary value. The prizes for the competition has increased with massive compensation prizes ranging from over 100kg of gas, free rides and advanced cake classes. And, the large audience ranging between 2,500 to 3,000.
