5 years we waited, apparently God was taking His time to give us the very best, says Mrs Unwana Etuk.

Mrs Unwana took to her Facebook timeline to share the good news of their first fruit.

In her Facebook Post, she wrote; “Celebrate Jesus with us!
God has done marvelously in our lives. I haven’t been able to put down words since King Great came not just because I’ve had no time but because words are not enough to describe my feelings. What extra time do I have anyways when all I do is take care of my son, take a lil nap and stare at him the remaining hours of the day?
5 years we waited, apparently God was taking His time to give us the very best. We prayed, we seek medical assistance, we waited but we were never desperate. I know Great is a survivor because at 6 weeks I was diagnosed with Sub-chorionic Haematoma (pooling of blood between the chorion, a membrane surrounding the embryo and the uterine wall), about the same number of weeks I lost my last two pregnancies. This time around I was ready for a face off with the devil as I put on the armor of God and got my faith stirred up with His word.
I asked God for a girl, Unwana Etuk (Stella’s husband) wanted a boy and God gave us King Great, I remember my first ‘sex’ scan. I was a bit disappointed as it didn’t turn out the way I expected but then I remembered the scripture “I know the thoughts I think towards you……….. “that calmed me, till date I’m still thanking God for the gift of my son as he is all I ever wanted (my carbon copy with dad’s attitude😜).
God is never late, He is our present help in times of need. There is so much to write but time and space wouldn’t permit me. Hold fast unto God the author and finisher of our faith.
King Great, you are worth the wait. You have thought us patience, how I cope with sleepless nights is amazing because I don’t joke with sleep, how I manage not putting on the fan and AC still baffles me. I now wear bra to sleep, how did that happen😫? Motherhood naturally adjust a woman.
God who did it for us will do it for everyone waiting on Him”.
