The big announcement was made known today by the TEF Board of Trustees after they had discuss and strategize for the next 5 years of Africa’s leading entrepreneurship Programme. As they also made known the parameters used in selecting shortlisted applicants are: Feasibility, Market opportunity, Scalability, Leadership skill and Viability of the idea.

According to TEF review, there as a rise in businesses as both men and women rise to build businesses that will transform Africa.
In 2015, the review shows that 20,000 applications were received, 1,000 entrepreneurs was selected, 76% male & 24% female.
Then, in 2019: 216,000 applications were received, 3,050 entrepreneurs were selected, 58% male & 42% female.

The express their excitement has there is a highly measurable rise in entrepreneurship, especially female entrepreneurs.
