The World Health Organization (WHO) shared a vital information about COVID-19, across all their social media platforms stressing that “COVID-19 is NOT airborne”.
The information reads;
“FACT: COVID-19 is NOT airborne.
The coronavirus is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks.
To protect yourself:
-keep 1m distance from others
-disinfect surfaces frequently
-wash/rub your 👐
-avoid touching your 👀👃👄”
In accordance to the information by WHO, this means that COVID-19 cannot be transferred through air.
